This interactive session will utilize hands on brainstorming techniques and challenge participants to approach library scenarios in innovative ways. The results will shake up the way you plan and deliver library services to your community!

• Demonstrate how walkthroughs ensure a new service or program is patron-centred

Every year there are excellent submissions to the Minister's Awards that don't win. This presentation will highlight some of the most innovative and excellent services we've heard about in the last couple of years. Attendees are sure to leave with fresh ideas for new programs and services.

• Get new ideas for library programs that are relevant to larger and smaller libraries

Libraries have potential to be more to our communities than what we currently are. Shake things up a little (or a lot!) by doing programs that make people say "I didn't know libraries' did THAT!" Discover how to get other people to do your programming for you and how to re-evaluate evaluation so you can recognize "unintended successes".
